In the past 24 hours, Cosmos [ATOM] has rallied by 3.71%. It was one of only a handful of crypto assets that rallied in the previous day’s trading. CoinMarketCap data showed the altcoin’s daily trading volume spiked 59%.

The market-wide bearish bias was due to Bitcoin’s [BTC] 3% price dip from $84,000 to $81,416 on Thursday, the 22nd of October. ATOM saw a 1.94% price dip on Thursday, alongside the crypto leader, but has enjoyed a more positive Friday at the time of writing.

From a price structure perspective, the Cosmos 1-day timeframe swing structure has been bearish since October 2025, when the $3.38 low was breached during the brutal sell-off on 10/10.

In hindsight, that was the day crypto markets definitively took a turn toward a bear market. Unfortunately for Cosmos bulls, the altcoin still hasn’t breached this bearish hold.

The $1.21 low and $2.30 high mark the current swing structure. The $2.0 area has been a local supply zone since March 2026, and was briefly flipped to support in May before sellers took control of it in June.

At the time of writing, it is possible that an influx of demand could drive ATOM back to $2.0. The CMF was still below +0.05 to signal no sizeable capital inflows, while the Awesome Oscillator was just below the zero line to signal a pullback was underway.

In the lower timeframes, the bullish momentum has managed to clear the $1.778 local resistance level. A retest of the same could yield another price bounce for ATOM.

Despite the bounce, the CMF remained firmly below +0.05. The daily trading volume hike that CMC data revealed was not enough to sway the technical indicator in the short term.

On the other hand, the Awesome Oscillator has made a bullish crossover back above the zero line.

The 90-day spot taker CVD had been positive in September and October, but has recently taken a neutral turn. A bullish direction reflected in this metric, combined with a steady trading volume increase for ATOM on exchanges, would signal real demand and the possibility of a bullish turnaround.
