Canton [CC] traded near the $0.1043 price level at the time of this writing, on October 20 , following about a 17% decline from the $0.125 area. Buyers had helped to lift the price from below $0.10 , but that rebound was already facing difficulty.
That leaves Canton close to an important test. Staying above $0.10 would give buyers room to attempt another recovery, but a fresh drop below it would have traders thinking if it might drop again to the recent low near the $0.097 price level.
The daily chart showed how quickly CC surrendered its earlier October trading range. After repeatedly trading at around the $0.12–$0.125 price area, it fell sharply toward $0.104 .
At the time of this writing, CC was down 0.98% , and it looked like a market that was still struggling to recover.
The four-hour chart offered a closer look at how buyers are responding. CC briefly went below $0.10 before recovering toward the $0.108 price area. But it was not able to hold that move, and returned to around $0.104 .
For now, this looks like it is trying to stabilize following the sell-off it saw. But the charts do not yet show a sustained change in direction.
The first hurdle sits around the $0.107–$0.109 price area, and this is close to where the latest rebound stalled.
If it moves above that area and it is able to hold it, it would strengthen the case that buyers were regaining control. It could also bring the $0.113–$0.115 level into view, even if this depends on some other conditions.
Below the current price, the $0.100–$0.102 area deserves attention. This is because holding there would help preserve the recent stabilization.
If selling pushes CC below $0.10 again, the next area that traders can look at is its recent low around $0.097. If it breaks beneath that low, it would weaken the recovery attempt further.
Aside from the CC price moves, Canton continues preparing for DTCC’s planned October tokenization service launch. The network’s official website provides resources for institutions seeking access to tokenized U.S. Treasuries, equities, and ETFs.
An October 14 update from Canton Strategic Holdings described the launch as expected in late October . That places it ahead as a development to monitor, rather than confirmation that the full rollout has already happened.
Neither announcement shows or confirms what caused CC’s recent decline. For the near-term price outlook, what observers are looking at is whether buyers can defend the $0.10 price area and move beyond the latest rebound high.
