The partnership will allow consumers to spend crypto and stablecoin balances directly from their existing wallets without transferring funds or obtaining a separate card.
Visa has partnered with crypto payments infrastructure provider Mesh to enable consumers to spend cryptocurrencies and stablecoins directly from their existing digital wallets across Visa’s global network of more than 175 million merchant locations.
Announced Monday, the partnership will allow users of participating wallets and platforms to make payments in stores and online without manually converting their crypto into fiat, transferring funds to a bank account, or applying for a separate payment card.
The initiative combines Visa’s payment infrastructure, which operates across more than 200 countries and territories, with Mesh’s technology for routing and converting digital asset transactions.
Mesh currently serves more than 200 enterprises and connects hundreds of digital wallets, exchanges, and financial platforms, including partners such as Kalshi, Tools for Humanity, Félix Pago, Majority, and KAST.
Under the proposed system, participating wallets will integrate with Mesh to enable payments directly from users’ existing balances.
A Visa payment credential will be generated in the background, allowing consumers to pay through contactless terminals or online checkout systems without obtaining a separate physical card.

Mesh will handle the conversion and routing of funds across supported cryptocurrencies, stablecoins, and fiat balances, while merchants receive payments through their existing Visa infrastructure without requiring new equipment or changes to checkout procedures.
“Crypto never had a spending problem — it has a last-mile problem, and until now, closing it meant getting a separate card,” said Mesh CEO and cofounder Bam Azizi.
The partnership aims to address a gap between growing crypto ownership and its limited use in everyday transactions.
According to research cited by Mesh, global crypto ownership reached 774 million people by June 2026, while monthly crypto card spending stood at approximately $1.5 billion in late 2025.
For participating crypto platforms, the integration will remove the need to develop and operate separate card programs, with Mesh managing onboarding, identity verification, and payment orchestration.
Visa has also been expanding its stablecoin payment infrastructure through partnerships with companies including Bridge, the Stripe owned stablecoin platform, which has been working to bring stablecoin linked Visa cards to more than 100 countries.
Mesh and Visa have not yet disclosed which wallets will initially support the new payment experience or when the service will become available. Additional details on participating platforms, supported devices, and rollout timelines are expected in future announcements.
