Two Bitcoin wallets dormant for more than 12 years moved about 417 BT C, worth $33.85 millio n, according to Lookonchain.

The movements brought Bitcoin held in the addresses for over a decade back into circulation between wallets. However, the available records do not say that anyone sold the coins or sent them to an exchange.

Arkham data show two main outgoing transfers. One address moved 248.854 BTC, valued at about $20.22 millio n, while the other transferred 167.84 BTC, worth around $13.63 millio n. Together, those transactions were 416.694 BTC .

The data also show earlier incoming transactions dating back roughly 12 and 13 years. For the larger wallet, the 248.854 BTC received was valued at about $88,460 .

A crypto wallet transfer takes record of coins moving between addresses. But the transaction alone cannot tell why they moved or whether ownership changed.

In this case, the data does not identify the holders or show what they want to do. It also does not show exchange destination, which would suggest that the coins were being prepared for sale.

What can then be concluded defensibly is that two addresses associated with long-held Bitcoin saw huge outgoing transfers.

Bitcoin traded around $82,152 at the time of this writing, following a retreat from recent highs near the $87,000 price area.

At the time of this writing, there were smaller price swings around the $81,000–$83,000 price level. This suggests that the decline had slowed down, but Bitcoin was yet to show a clear recovery sign.

The nearby area around $82,500 remained an initial hurdle, while the $80,000–$80,500 below it is an area to watch. If it is able to hold that lower area, it would help it preserve the recent stabilization it is seeing.
