After Pump.fun [PUMP] peaked near $0.0068 in early October, it declined sharply since then due to seller dominance. Prices initially remained in a range of approximately $0.00530 through $0.00600.

However, repeated attempts to breach higher levels demonstrated that buyer momentum was being diminished.

Following the drop below $0.00525, selling increased rapidly as the market also lost its consolidation floor. Subsequent falls in price below $0.00475 deepened the losses even further with buyers unable to protect an additional demand level.

As a result, prices have fallen towards $0.00430 and left the late September rally increasingly vulnerable. Supportive indicators of the bearish trend include rising volumes of selling along with the current RSI reading of 26.09, indicating over-sold conditions.

However, weak momentum could persist unless buyers absorb selling near $0.004226. Holding this level may encourage a relief bounce toward $0.00475, where former support could attract renewed selling.

Conversely, a breakdown could expose $0.00380–$0.00400, extending losses and weakening confidence in PUMP’s recovery.

PUMP’s sharp decline toward $0.00430 raises questions about whether activity across PUMP can provide enough demand to support recovery. Although PUMP’s trading volume remains large, it has recently decreased and provides very little indication of growing new buying pressure.

PUMP’s trading history peaked near $840 million in late August and September. On October 13, daily turnover had fallen to $489.2 million, with PumpSwap contributing nearly $333 million and Pums’ bonding curve contributing just under $157 million.

This simply shows that secondary-market swaps generate nearly all of Pumps’ trading activity.

However, this turnover has not prevented PUMP’s recent breakdown, highlighting the difference between platform usage and token demand. Daily revenue rose to $1.95 million, which facilitated $976,200 in buy backs that eliminated 0.019% of total supply.

Despite buybacks capping circulating supply, their impact is minimal since they operate at a slower pace. Therefore, for a recovery to materialize, both sustained volume increase and greater buying demand need to emerge.

All together, PUMP’s recovery depends on defending $0.004226, renewed buying demand, and stronger activity to offset selling pressure and limited buyback impact.

Conversely, PUMP faces further downside toward $0.00380 if support breaks, but oversold conditions and sustained buybacks could encourage a rebound if demand returns.

Pump.fun remains bearish as sellers threaten to extend losses, although oversold conditions leave room for a rebound.

However, PUMP’s buybacks offer limited support, leaving recovery dependent on stronger demand and sustained trading activity.
