Blockworks data shows network revenue up 54% even as daily active addresses slipped 14% from the prior quarter

BNB Chain handled 1.51 billion transactions in the third quarter, or about 16.4 million per day. That works out to a lot of activity for a network that had fewer people using it than in the previous quarter.

The figures come from Blockworks’ Q3 2026 Token Holder Report. They describe a chain where fewer wallets did more work, and where tokenized stocks went from side project to headline act.

Start with throughput. The 1.51 billion transactions marked a 7.5% increase from Q2, when the network recorded 1.41 billion.

Trading in tokenized equities and real-world assets on BNB Chain reached $25.6 billion in Q3. In Q2, that figure was $2.4 billion, which makes the jump roughly 11-fold.

Decentralized exchange activity drove most of that volume. According to Blockworks, BNB Chain captured over half of all tracked tokenized-asset trading volume during the quarter.

Broader DEX numbers also moved up. Spot DEX volume rose 28% to $75.7 billion, while lending deposits climbed 42% to $3.57 billion.

BNB Chain’s network revenue equivalent value, which Blockworks calls REV, grew 54% quarter over quarter to $54.2 million.

That total breaks into two pieces. Transaction fees contributed $49.1 million, and miner extractable value payments added $5.1 million.

Average transaction fees rose 43% to $0.032. Net income for token holders grew 57% to $45.1 million. Blockworks attributed the increase to firmer demand for BNB Chain’s blockspace.

Daily active addresses averaged 2.10 million in Q3, down 14% from Q2.

Average transactions per address rose from 6.3 to 7.8, meaning the remaining users were considerably more active.
