Sui [SUI] climbed back above $1 on October 20 , trading near $1.0227 after bouncing from recent lows around the $0.94–$0.95 price area. The token was up 2.44% at the time of this writing.

The rebound gives buyers another chance to challenge $1.05 , a level that an analyst identified as important for a turnaround. However, SUI remains below that level, leaving its recovery incomplete.

In a post on October 20 on X, van de Poppe suggested SUI might have completed its correction. He pointed to a decline from around $1.25 to $0.95 , which is about 24% .

While he acknowledged the continued selling pressure that SUI was seeing on shorter timeframes, he identified that a break above the $1.05 price area is key to a potential reversal.

The latest charts show progress toward that test. Buyers have recovered the $1 level, but with its recent moves, it still sits within the wider decline from early October.

This is important because a bounce from the lows will bring an early improvement, while a lasting recovery requires buyers to overcome areas where previous advances did not succeed.

The immediate hurdle it needs to cross lies around the $1.04–$1.05 price area. SUI reached around $1.0413 during the current daily session before easing back, showing that buyers had already approached this area.

If it is able to remain above the $1.05 price level, it would strengthen the recovery case. It could bring the next price levels near the $1.09 and $1.125 price areas into focus, although reaching them would depend on if buying continues.

If it sees a pullback, the $0.98–$1.00 price level is the nearest area to watch, but if it holds, it would help preserve the rebound. But losing it could take it back toward the $0.94–$0.95 price area.
